What about an isometric automatic layout ?

Yes! This is complicated to achieve in Visio, and nearly impossible in all other diagramming apps.

Is it implemented?

yFiles seems to be capable of isometric layouts:

Isometric layout is not part of yEd. The most important reason being that the node styles available in yEd will not work well for isometric arrangements.
