Improve yEd on non-QWERTY keyboards

0 votes
yEd responds unevenly to keyboard shortcuts on my Dvorak keyboard. (Another user had similar problem with Hungarian keyboard mapping.) Although text appears properly when I type, yEd doesn't properly map the command-keys; for example, command-comma should trigger Preferences dialogue, but instead it tries to close my window (because Dvorak's comma is where "W" is on QWERTY).

To be clear: it's not even reliably using QWERTY command keys; the comma in QWERTY is where I go to get a "W" in Dvorak. If I hit command-W (using Dvorak layout), again yEd interprets it as the "close window" command. So, I have no keyboard shortcut for Preferences. And various others.
