Re-use of objects

Hi

if I create an object with name i.e. X (any kind of object), is it possible to use the same X object in several diagrams?

Well, it is possible to create user-defined palette sections. You can add styled nodes and/or edges as templates to said user-defined palette sections.

Of course, it is also possible to copy nodes from one diagram to another.

Other than that, re-using existing diagram elements is not possible in yEd.
