Add data elements that can be calculated?

Question

Is it possible to add data elements to nodes?

ie. If I wanted to relate cycle-time or duration to a node, can it be added to the Data property somehow?

If the data could be seen as a label or turned on/off, that would be a bonus but just being able to capture some data related to the node would be helpful.

yEd supports the notion of "custom properties" - see section Custom Properties in the yEd manual. It is also possible to use yEd's properties mapper to automatically assign the values of custom properties to label texts. Finally, searching for the keyword "mapper" (without the quotes) here in the forum should turn up lots of posts with questions and example regarding property mapper usage.

This is just what I was looking for.  The Custom Properties works great.

Is there a way to be able to collect or sum the numerical properties in a selected set of nodes?
