Modify Default Group Node

+1 vote
Hi there,

I was wondering whether there is the capability to modify the default Group Node?

For instance, change the background.

Thanks a lot

Yes, that is possible.

  1. Create an empty group node.
  2. Adjust its visualization to your needs.
  3. Create a user-defined palette section (see chapter Palette Manager in the yEd Manual for reated docunmentation).
  4. Right-click your customized group and choose "Add to Palette" from the node's context menu.
  5. In your user-defined palette section, double-click the resulting group node template.

If everything works out, the group node template gets a dark blue background in your user-defined palette section and is now the default group node style.
