i'd like to use yEd for wireframing ( prototype user interface), but this could be possible only developing a specific palette.  is in the path to contribute on palette development ?  thanks

It is already possible to add a palette section with your own custom symbols. Please see How can I use my own node symbols in yEd? for information on how to do that.
