Started a very simple Family Tree to learn how to use this. After selecting either 'Prefer Males First', or 'Force Males First' there is no change in the layout and Males are not first. At one point the 'parents' were switched so the Female is First.
Not sure what I am missing. I can upload the file if that would help.
What I would actually like is the ability to order the 'children' by age. Or, order them manually if that is not possible.
