Auto "fit node to label"

It would be great, if the shapes automatically changed their size to fit to label. Now you have to via Tools menu or by manual resizing - it's not very practical. Thank you!

This is already supported. Please see the Preferences dialog:
File menu > Preferences... > Editor tab > Dynamically Adjust Node Size to Label Size

Doesn't work in v 3.16.2.1

Re:

You are wrong. This feature does work as intended in yEd 3.16.2.1.

Maybe you are expecting something this feature is not meant to do? Would you care to explain ...
- on which operating system you are using yEd
- what type of node style you are using
- what exactly you did and how the feature failed to meet your expectations

I'm very new to yEd. It seems useful to show IDEF0 concept of Input>Action>Output. As such the Labels are long to minimize need for following text while viewing graph

I'm using the standard Excel input for yEd 3.16.2.1, which is the current version, on a Mac running Yosemite

I changed the Preferences, a suggested; but, nothing changed???

Closed graph and re-imported but, no change.

Thoughts?
"Dynamically Adjust Node Size to Label Size" only takes effect when you manually edit a label.
For your use case, you can use "Tool" -> "Fit Node to Label" after your import from Excel is done.
