Use numeric keypad to move

Question

Just a suggestion:

The numeric keypad could maybe be used to move selected graph items across the canvas slowly.  Or if no items were selected, it could scroll the view.

this is especially useful when trying to put things into an exact location that yEd doesnt snap to

I'm supporting the idea; using just keyboard for most operations (instead of switching between keyboard and mouse) makes the work more efficient

selected node could be moved using Ctrl (or Shift) + cursor keys as well
