Drag and drop images directly from internet-browser

Hello. Is there currently any way to drag and drop images from internet browsers directly? It works finde with the file-browser (finder). (System: Mac) Maybe with a specific browser?
I work a lot with images from the internet and this would speed up the process enormously instead of saving them locally first. Thank you!

I fully agree that this is a main gap. Copy&paste external images from the windows clipboard to Yed would be sufficient. In the moment it is only possible to paste Yed Internal Symbols. would be great if we see this soon

Drag and drop of images from the browser to yEd works fine for me on Windows 7 using either Chrome or Firefox.
It does not work using IE. However, perhaps this answer from the Microsoft Community support website may be helpful:
