Not possible to merge nodes into group by dragging them onto group element from Pallete

Question

I'm trying to drag a group item from Palette to the canvas and add a node to it. I press Shift and try to drag a node to that group item, but it won't add to it. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

You can only drop nodes into open group nodes. The group node in your screen cast is a closed group, though.

You can differentiate opened and closed groups by their state icon. "+" means it is a closed group, "-" means it is an open group.

Either open your existing closed group first or drag an open group from the palette.
