Defective eps export when using shadows

Question

Tested on Mac OS 10.8.2 and Windows XP SP3 with yEd 3.10:

When I export a diagram in eps format and use shadows on my objects, the file output is defective in form of blank spaces all over the diagram. When I remove the shadows the blank spaces disappear and the file output is correct.

Thanks for pointing out this issue. We will have a look at it.

Hello Jan,

this issue is more or less related to the output format eps. The eps specification does not support transparency (as used in shadows) and hence related information is lost and "cropped" to white frames on export.
