Complete BMPN 2.0 functionality (no work arounds)

Dear All,

I am really impressed by the quality of the tool and it has been my preferred one. Unfortunately I am more and more missing the complete BPMN 2.0 functionality, that is why I start looking for alternatives (like Yaoqiang BPMN Editor where a BPMN validator  is included). I have seen the work arounds to mimic all BPMN 2.0 feature but it is kind of awkward and to slow.

I understand that you guys rather focus on the libraries than on a product like yED, but please do not neglect it - it is a great program and personally I would prefer using it instead of anything else.

Please put it back on the schedule.

P.S. I also vote feature-request as: (1) rich-text/html formatting capabilities and (2) bridged lines and (3) BPMN validator (I know that's challenge).

We are not neglecting yEd! In fact, we plan to release version 3.10 early in November 2012.

Regarding your feature requests:

• HTML formatting is already supported. We do not plan to add rich text formatting.
• Bridged lines are already supported for all edge types except the BPMN edge types. As of 3.10, BPMN edge types will support bridges, too.
• We do not plan to add BPMN validation. Frankly, this is way out-of-scope for yEd.
