Need lines to automatically go around nodes

Question

Hi, i am building a complex chart and whenever i move a node i have to readjust all the lines. I would like them to go around the nodes they are passing and not go through. Does anyone know how to do this? Any help is appreciated.

While yEd does not offer a mode where edges (as "lines" are formally called) are automatically re-routed when nodes are moved, yEd does offer several layout algorithms for routing edges (see "Layout" -> "Edge Routing"). I suggest giving the "Orthogonal/Polyline" algorithm a try.
