I am unable to copy and paste icons into the edit screen of yed, neither with drag & drop nor with pallette settings - import icons/symbols (which is disabled). Who can help? Thanks

Please see How can I use my own node symbols in yEd? Note, it is only possible to import icons into user-defined palette sectons (see the Palette Manager section in the yEd Manual for details).
