It would be great if there would be a possibility to create custom symbols by combining existing symbols.

The recommended workarounds with svg and label icons are not an appropriate solution, because it isn't possible to apply properties to those.

I think of something like the grouping function in visio where the formatting, scaling or positioning is applied to all the combined components.
