How to convert / import an MS Excel file of Reporting Relationships into a Hierarchical Organization Chart ?

I have an MS Excel file which contains a list of employees in one column and the list of their reporting managers in another column. Is there any way that I can import this information into yED and automatically convert it into a Hierarchical Organization Chart ???

Yes, your data seems to be in the 'Edge List' representation that yEd can import. Please see the manual page of the Excel import and the various other answers to Excel import related questions in this forum for more details. There, you'll also find information about how to import additional information about the persons, if there is any in your data.

After importing, you can use the automatic Tree Layout to arrange your diagram in an orgchart-like fashion.
