Fit text within node

I am a new user to yED and creating my first flowchart. How does one fit text within the shape being edited?

For non-rectangular shapes you have to manually insert line breaks. For rectangular shapes you may use label configuration "Cropping" together with label size "Fit Node Size" or "Fit Node Width". Both configuration and size may be specified in the properties view in yEd's lower right corner once you select a node or label.

What are you not clear about? There are only two things to do:
1. Set the label configuration to "Cropping".
2. Set the label size policy to "Fit Node Size" or "Fit Node Width".
