How do I set the color int the properties mapper

Question

I have managed to import my color column as a custom property. 

 

My column is "Status color' I have managed to import the column successfully.  In the the properties mapper I have added the "Status color as selected configuration slected the datasource as the "Status color", selected multiple for the template and in the slected mapping section I can select the various colors I have from the file. The template however only allows me to change the node representation (shapes & icons). Where do i select the color?

Do not map to a template and choose "Fill Color" in column "Map To".
