I had a diagram I liked, and suddenly it got incredibly small, and I can't find it.

I'm a rank newbie. I created my first diagram, and it was just what I wanted. Then it suddenly got so small that I can't find it anymore. The thumbs for the scrollbars got really small, too, so I think that the problem is that it's zoomed way out. I tried zooming back in but it doesn't help. I still can't find it.

What did I do to cause this?

Is there some way to recover?

It's as if the "paper" that I'm working on has gotten to be 50 yards square, and I can't figure out how to get it back to the size I started with: the area of the screen.

This has nothing to do with printing. That's why I put quotes around "paper".

Well, it could be that an error occurred while calculating some coordinates for diagram elements. However, I would need your diagram to verify this guess. If you upload a GraphML file of your diagram here, I will take a look at it.

That said, zoom related problem are usually resolved by clicking the magnifer icon that is labeled "1:1" in the tool bar and then double-clicking one of the entries in the structure view in yEd's lower left corner.
