Characters come and go randomly when in contact with mouse pointer

Hello, I am not able to make yEd Graph Editor to work properly. Some of the characters desappear when mouse pointer is rolling over them or when changing window size where the program is displayed.

My computer is 64 bits and the operative system is Windows 8.1. I have tryed installing the 2 files for windows 8, 7 64bits.

Haven't been able to find an answer in the support area.
