Is it possible to bind keys to custom actions (like left cursor key = move obj to left by X)?

Question

I sometimes find a bit cumbersome to quickly rearrange an object/selection by shifting it  vertically or horizontally only. Using cursor keys (like other tools do, i.e. Visio) to cause a shift in x+, x-, y+, y- direction of a step (10 points for example) would really be helpful

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to declare custom key bindings in yEd.
