What is the best practice for formatting labels?

0 votes
I spend most of my time formatting and reformatting label text. The end result looks messy because the nodes vary quite a bit in size depending on the amount of text.

I have the preferences set to auto adjust the node height and width based on the label. I set the label width while typing the label by using Shift+Enter to start a new line when the label is "about as long as I want". I like how quick this approach is (I don't have to edit the properties of the node after it's created). However, if I decide to change the label text much or change the shape, it's usually faster to just make a new node rather than edit the existing node. What is the best practice for quickly formatting the label text?
