Undo curves edges as default

0 votes
Recently, edges are always curved. This wasn't the case a while ago. I've tried all possibilities under layout -> edge routing. None helped. In your tutorial video, drawing a line from one node to another creates a straight line. With me, it creates a curved line (and I don't want that)

Could it be due to a Java update? (Now Java 7 Update 71)

This means you changed the default edge style. Go to palette section "Edge Types" and double-click one of the first two styles ("Polyline" and "Polyline with Target Arrow") to reset the default edge style. (If successful, the background of the double-clicked style will turn blue.)

To change the style of existing edges, select all the edges you want to change in the editor, then go to palette section "Edge Types" right-click the desired style to open its context menu and choose "Apply" or "Apply Type".

thank you! I just found it by myself too. I was a bit mislead by this answer, kept looking in the wrong menu. http://yed.yworks.com/support/qa/3144/how-to-obtain-2-straight-lines-between-2-nodes
