Now i want to do the hierarchical layout with severl nodes(actually boxes) being grouped in one line. I found that I could use the yed to get the similar result(layout-> hierarchical,choosing the layer assignment policy as hierarchical optimal ,componet arrangement as topmost and at the same time use the strong horizontal group compaction in the grouping tab.)
I want to know what kind of algorithms could solve the horizontal group compaction problem,so is there anyone who konws the specifie procedure or just tells how could i get some related materials? Thank you so much.
