Can line/fill properties be changed for custom svg symbols?

+1 vote
I have an SVG symbol which is simply a polygon that I want to use a symbol in yed, but I will want various colors to be used.  Can I import it in such a way that I can change fill color like with the "regular" shapes?  Right now, I only need fill, but in the future, I could imagine wanting to change other properties as well.

No, that is not possible. SVG symbols are always displayed as imported.

Bummer.  Thanks for letting me know, I can now cease my futile efforts
