How to prohibit flow chart bubble from collapsing while editing label text

While editing text inside a flow chart bubble, the bubble collapses to fit the text, or collapses entirely. This can send the arrows out of whack, and precipitate the need to start over entirely. I need the bubble to NOT change shape at all while I'm editing text. How do I set the bubble to retain its size without collapsing / expanding? Thank you!

You probably have "File" -> "Preferences", tab "Editor", option "Dynamically Adjust Node Size to Label Size" enabled. Turn off this feature if you do not want interactive text editing to affect node sizes.
