Is it possible to select at one time many nodes using a list of identifiers/node labels?

0 votes
I need to select many nodes (hundreds out of thousands) from a list of node identifiers, and then edit them, and them only, to apply a different color/shape etc. In my case, it is a network composed of human genes, I need to select some of them (too many to be done one at a time) and highlight them in some way (color, shape, size, etc).

Thanks a lot.

If all the labels have a common prefix or suffix that is distinctive for the desired set of nodes, then this is possible using the "Select Elements" tool. Otherwise, this is currently not possible.
