Any alternative way to pull harder in some edges than in others

Thank you for the answer. Just to be sure that the question is clear enough: I don't want to set the length of the edge to a specific value - only to make the connections between some nodes be stronger than others.
related to an answer for: Can some edges be shorter or "tighter" than others based on key values?

Unfortunately, that is not possible in yEd. The only way to emphasize the importance of an edge is by using visual attributes like color and thickness.
