How can I count similar nodes?

0 votes
Hi-

I've used yEd to make some large-ish network maps and I've used 4 different shapes and colors.  I'd like to be able to count (for example) how many nodes have a certain color fill.  I see how I can SELECT all nodes with a certain color fill, but is there somewhere that will show me HOW MANY nodes have then been selected?  Thanks in advance for your help!

Well, you could copy the selected nodes, paste them into an empty editor tab, and check the node count of said editor. Checking the node count can be done in two ways. Un-select everything by clicking on empty space and check the graph properties in yEd lower right corner or use "Tools" -> "Analyze Graph".

Thank you!  Not quite as fast as a 'number selected' feature, but easy enough!
