Group "Containers" overlap edges

Question

I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong but it seems that my groups overlap certain edges in my diagram. When I move them "down" it ends up hiding other edges behind other groups. Is there a way to force show all edges? I can't seem to move edge lines to the top.

The rendering order of edges is governed by setting "Paint Nodes over Edges" in "File" -> "Preferences", tab "Display". Aside from that, the rendering order of the two nodes that are connected by a given edge also affects the rendering order of the edge. This means that "Raise Selection" /"Lower Selection" from the node context menu may be used to adjust edge rendering order.
