Problems with transparency

0 votes

I´m trying to lay an annotation over my bpmn nodes.

Problem: The arrows and lines from the back are always on top of the annotation, so it looks kind of broken. Sending the nodes backwards doesn´t have any effect at this point.

The next thing is that I can´t change any color trasparency because I don´t have this options like I found here (second picture): http://yed.yworks.com/support/qa/2947/how-can-save-the-sequence-of-elements-and-transparent-lanes

Here´s a screenshots:

And here the missing "HSV - Transparency" option:

I´m using yEd 3.11.1 and Mac OS 10.7.5 if this helps.

Any ideas?

"File" -> "Preferences", tab "Display" option "Paint Nodes over Edges" will probably help.

Yes, your HSB tab does not provide a way to change transparency. But right next to it, there is a RGBA tab. RGBA means "Red Green Blue Alpha" with the alpha channel controling transparency.

The color chooser is a default Java component. Yours differs from the one in the mentioned screenshot, because your are probably running yEd on Java 6 while the screenshot is with Java 7.
