GEDCOM - Invalid format at line 12 (YED - Version: 3.11.1 (Windows 7))

Question

By opening filexxxx.ged (exported from geni.com) i get the message: GEDCOM - Invalid format at line 12

There are leading spaces in the last two lines (" 2 GIVN Georg" and " 2 SURN Hrabanek") of your input. That is illegal in GEDCOM.

 

By the way, I recommend not posting your email address in a public forum. That is like asking for a *lot* of spam.
