Line ending on a line?

Dear all,

I would like to display a moderator in a model. The moderator line has to end on another line to display that it influences the connection between two variables. This means an arrow should appear on the second horizontal line.

How can I make this happen?

There two ways to achieve the desired effect in yEd.

1. Create an invisible dummy node for the moderator line and place that invisible node over the other line.

2. Split the other line with an addtional node of width and height 1 and connect your moderator line to that helper node.
