Hello

I am wondering if this is possible.

I need to make a modification to a specific node with a unique label, which occurs multiple times. I want to add a new node via a specific edge.

I do not want to disturb the remainder of the connections to the original node.

I am wondering if it is possible to replace the current node with a paste of the new node combination.

yEd does not offer any way to replace a node nor does it offer a way to automatically create nodes or edges in an existing diagram.

This is intentional. While yEd offers a lot of cool features, it does not offer any features that would help with automated processes to prevent yEd from being used as a substitute for buying a yFiles license.
