Behavior on return: execute “Apply” function instead of “OK”

Dear yEd Team,

it would be helpful if the “Return” action in the settings did not trigger ‘OK’ and implementation, but instead triggered the “Apply” function (optional).

Reason: When you click “OK,” the “Settings” window closes and you have to reopen it when you need it again.

Do you mean the "File" -> "Preferences" dialog when you say "Settings" window? (Off the top of my head I do not know any other dialog in yEd that has an "Apply" button.)

While I sympathize with the reasoning behind your request, I am afraid chances are very low that we will change this behavior.

Have you tried docking the preferences dialog, if you do not want to have to open it again at a later time?
