Existing yED file cannot be opened by yED app on my MacBook

I can not open my existing yEd file which i have made it a couple of days ago. It shows only a white page.

Is the file in question a GraphML file? If so, what is its file size? If it is a GraphML file and its file size is larger than 0 bytes, open the file in a text editor of your choice and check its contents.

If it is not a GraphML file, what type of file is it?

If its file size is 0 bytes, then your file's content got erased in some way and your data is lost. (Note, yEd never erases the contents of files.)
