Add transparency to an object when it is selected
0
votes
At the moment a selected object is brought to the front and covering all other objects. This makes it difficult to resize the object if it covers any others. Can the default behaviour be changed so that the object becomes a little transparent when selected?

There is no way to make the selected object transparent but you can disable that selected objects are brought to the front: open the settings dialog with File -> Preferences, go to the Disaply tab and deselect 'Draw Selected Elements on Top'.
