Is there a way to show a "lightning bolt" connection?

I want to create a diagram like this with "lightning" edges between nodes.  Is this possible?

If you require an exact replication including increased thickness for the middle segment, then no, such "lightning" connections are not possible in yEd.

If you do not require the increased thinkness, you can try regular Polyline edges with two bends to create the middle segment.

Note, though, none of yEd's layout algorithms will respect such a "lightning" edge path.
