Since it took a while to find a solution to what was hindering me to using yEd
(Question "yed instantly terminating")
I suggest to add a little System.out (or System.err) Message, that yEd was terminated due to another instance of yEd running on the system.
The effort is minimal, and it might just save other people a lot of trouble, especially with stuck webstart sessions.
