selecting an item brings it temporary foreward, i still want to see what's behind.

Hi all,

selecting an item brings it temporary foreward. This blocks the view of everyting that was in front. I still want to see what's behind. Is there a way to achieve this?

If you turn off "Draw Selected Elements On Top" in "File" -> "Preferences", tab "Display", selecting elements will not change their z-order anymore.
