Is there a way for me to check if a flow doesn't end with an end event

For BPMN, there is a start event and then an end event.  Is there a way to automagically check if each flow element leads to an end event?

Unfortunately, no, there is not. yEd does not offer any validation for BPMN (or any other type of) diagrams.

The best you can do is to select all your end events and then check if yEd's predecessor context view contains all of your start events (or rather all nodes without any incoming edges).
