Is there a way to add custom arrow symbols?

0 votes

Is there any way to add/import custom/additional arrowheads for source/target edge terminators?  For instance, DFDs use a double-arrowhead notation

DFD continuous flow souble arrowhead

to represent continuous flows.

Thanks!

Yes, you can import custom-made vector graphics by right-clicking on the symbols palette, choosing Manage Palette. Create a new section, highlight it and import symbols. From there, you can import multiple files, for example SVG. Inkscape is a great free tool for generating such symbols. I used it to create speaker and microphone symbols for yEd.

I don't want to adding a node symbol; I want to add a new type of arrowhead for edges.  So far I haven't figured out a way to do that.
Sorry, my fault. :-(
did you found a way to do this or is still an incognita?
