All edges default to arcs in windows 3.10.2

There appears to be no way to actually make a "straight" edge, orthrogonal setting notwithstanding.  Forget about edges with right angle - no way at all.  Is this expected?  Is there some setting other than orthogonal?  I've done this before in Yed easily.

Perhaps you have changed the default edge type to an arc edge?
