Active tab in dialogs has white text on white background (on Mac)

Question

On my Mac, yEd's multi-tab dialogs show the active tab name in white text on a white background, with only a sliver of a shadow to help me see it. It's a distraction and a nuisance.

Here is an example dialog with the "General" tab active:
