Fit Node to Label disconnects some edges

When fitting nodes to labels, edges get disconnected from the nodes that shrink as a result of the fitting.

Is there a way to avoid this?

Unfortunately, there is currently (i.e. version 3.10.1 and older) no way to avoid this problem when using the "Fit Node To Label" tool.

We will improve this tool in the next version of yEd.
