Is it possible to auto-align nodes to the first selected node?

Currently, the auto-align option aligns the node to the one closest to the direction we are aligning to. Is it possible to align the nodes to the first selected node instead, this way giving us more granular control on the alignment?

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to change the behavior of yEd's align nodes tools.

I have added your suggestion to our list of possible improvements for yEd. Due to the tremendous size of that list I cannot make any promises when or even if we will be able to include your suggested feature in yEd.
