Corrupted file with 0 KB

I have a corrupted that is giving the following error report when trying to open it.
The file has 0 KB.

0 KB means the file is empty.

yEd should probably handle this case a bit more gracefully by opening a new, empty editor tab instead of throwing an error.

I should have probably given a bit more context here.

The file was not empty the day before, but seems to have gotten corrupted while saving yesterday.

I was wondering, if I can somehow recover it, or if I have to start from scratch with my plot.

Do you have any idea, if there are any options for recovery?
