I had posed a question to the forum and a more experienced user (thanks by the way) suggested that there currently was no solution to my query, but could be proposed as a new feature.
I have data from a correlation matrix and in drawing the network map of how they are connected, a user interface for the Organic layout would be good that includes consideration for edge weighting (as the numerical correlation coefficient). I don't know how the organic layout algorithm works exactly, but it would then be good if the resulting consideration of the edge weights would be represented in the organic layout, or if the connectors could be formatted accordingly (eg. red for negative correlations, thickness of connector proportional to magnitude of the correlation coefficient to illustrate those predictors more reliable).
