Not possible to install yEd Graph Editor on windows vista laptop

Question

I could not  install yEd Graph Editor on windows vista laptop. In the first step of the installation process an error message appears. Here is the error message:

"Could not use bundled JRE. Please send this log file to your software vendor:

Log: C\Users\Pedro\AppData\Local\Temp\i4j_nlog_9".

I have Windows vista Home Premium (2007) with service pack 2.

I tried to install yEd for Windows version 3.10.1.

yEd needs a so called Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to work. If this is not already installed on your system (as the error message suggests), the best way is to use the yEd setup file which contains such a JRE. It's file name is 'yEd-3.10.1_with-JRE_setup.exe' and it's the only download option for Windows that is available on the main yEd download page:

If you're already using this file, please make sure that it downloaded correctly, and if in doubt, download it again.
